Uttalelse:

"The Greenbelt shares many characteristics with the places I grew up as they are both heavily forested. Norway and Germany are renowned for their folklore and fairytales and my personal interest and upbringing with these traditional stories led me towards investigating them further in relation to The Greenbelt.

Soft focus, framing, use of vegetation and a quiet yet dark scenery inspired by Theodor Kittelsen makes the series poetic. By shooting specific objects found or created with materials collected in The Greenbelt, I hope to stir the viewer's mind and the innate folk belief most of us have grown up with. My choice of subject matter, how it relates to my mihimihi and how it is perceived depends on the viewer and their sense of mihimihi making this a conceptual series."
